Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Myers-Estero/FGCU

NASA at the front desk was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. Even though we were only there one night, he made sure we had what we needed. We were in town for a hockey tournament, and the location worked perfectly for Hertz Arena. The room was clean and comfortable, and we'll definitely stay here again.

The beds felt lumpy and hard, almost like an air mattress. Staff were great, and breakfast was good, though I'd skip the sausage. It tasted like it had corn fillers.

The noise next door ruined both nights. Around 1 a.m. the guests were yelling, arguing, and slamming doors. I called the front desk and was told someone would deal with it, but it went on for hours and we couldn't get back to sleep. I doubt anyone called or went to the room. I complained again the next morning, and the man there said he'd take care of it. The following night it happened again, not quite as badly, but it was still very disruptive. I worried that confronting them myself could have made things worse or brought in the police. Nasa later texted to ask how the stay was. I explained that we'd lost sleep and that staff hadn't handled the complaint with care. Her reply was passive, just an apology and a promise to speak to the party, when it was already too late. It felt like nobody at the hotel cared enough to do the simple thing and address the guests. I shouldn't have to pay full price for two nights without proper rest. There were also dead cockroaches in the stairwell. They weren't even the worst part of the stay. The customer service was terrible. In the update, the hotel said it wanted to speak with me but gave no contact information.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and everything was very clean. Amanda was one of the wonderful people there, though I can't remember everyone's names. They made our stay comfortable, and I'd happily come back anytime.
