Motel 6 Eugene, OR - South Springfield

I left wanting to book another room just because of Savannah’s energy and personality. She listened without cutting me off, made sure she understood my concerns, and went out of her way to accommodate me. She also gave me advice on avoiding problems in the future. Very professional and kind, and she was so polite and friendly. Savannah even said she loves her job, which reflects well on the company. Thanks, Savannah!

The location worked perfectly for us, and check-in and checkout were easy. The sheets were clean and the beds reasonably comfortable. I could hear the highway, but once we turned on our noisemaker, it didn’t bother us. For the price, it was good, and I’d stay again. The cleaning crew could pay a bit more attention to the light switches and walls, if possible.

After a poor night’s sleep, I realized I’d left valuable things in the room. I called within a day, and assistant manager Bri said nothing had been turned in. Before rudely hanging up, she told me I should keep better track of my important things in the future. I called the next shift and was hung up on again after being told to call in the morning and speak with Bri. Since I’d only been there the day before, I expected some concern that my belongings might still be there. The grounds were filthy, with cigarette stains and trash all over, and my non-smoking room smelled like smoke. I’m embarrassed I stayed instead of leaving immediately. I don’t recommend this place. They clearly don’t care about guests, and apparently they’re thieves.

There’s a Denny’s next door, a gas station with a small market nearby, and the motel is right off the freeway, so it’s easy to find. The downside is the noise: traffic was loud, and people outside were making noise all night. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, but none of our outlets worked or would hold anything plugged in. When we first entered, there was dried pee on the toilet seat and the floor.
