Phoenix Inn Suites Eugene

The front room, with its fireplace, sofas, and tables, is beautiful and feels as comfortable as a friend’s home. The rooms are pleasant and have the basic things you’d expect, and there’s a nice breakfast setup. It’s clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. We’ve had to stay here several times for medical visits, unfortunately, and the staff have always been so accommodating. They even helped my wife when I couldn’t, which felt above and beyond. A great place to stay in Eugene!

The rooms were clean, the location was lovely, and the staff were friendly. But the hotel couldn’t handle being full. When we tried to shower, the water was lukewarm at best. The front desk said the heater couldn’t keep up because the hotel was completely booked. The breakfast room was packed too, noisy, crowded, and chaotic. That overcrowding put a real damper on the stay for me.

The rooms and amenities are quite nice, though somewhat dated. The staff were especially good at communicating: I got immediate email replies while arranging the shuttle. When my flight arrived early, I could make a last-minute pickup change and got a text message to coordinate it.

They put out fresh cookies every afternoon, and the rooms are large. It’s a quiet setting with friendly staff, ample parking, and a great location just a few blocks from downtown and the university. I’ve stayed twice and haven’t had any problems.
