DO NOT RENT here. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The new property manager, Talisha, was horrific to deal with. She was rude and lied, and had my daughter's car towed after it was parked for ten minutes in the future residence spot while she moved a couple of things. The tow cost $360, and they wouldn't negotiate. These are poor college students, and this was unacceptable business. If the spot was an issue, they could have left a note that would have been seen right away. You should never tow from a future residence spot like that. We had friends who lived there for three years, and she was rude to them while they were moving out. She also showed no respect for long-term tenants and made one of our friends cry that day. First she said the car had been there for two hours at 8am, then said they open at 10am and that she'd waited to call the tow company until just before opening. I spoke with the company, which confirmed Talisha called right at 10am and they arrived at 10:20. What she said and did didn't match, and she lied to all of us. She also claimed there were towing signs everywhere. We walked around the whole building and found only one tiny sign in the entire complex. This is a higher-end apartment building, and this is the third complaint from three different people. Talisha doesn't seem business savvy, doesn't work with people, and lacks communication and people skills. She shouldn't be working with the public or in this position. Three years ago, management was much better. Don't rent here or talk to Talisha. Hopefully she won't be there long. Shame on Talisha, the staff, and the corporate people of Union on Broadway apartments. Take your business elsewhere.

You can only pick up packages during business hours, and those hours are very short if you work two jobs and don't get days off. On top of that, the garage breaks every few weeks and blocks entry or exit for several hours while it's being repaired. People like me end up having to ask for money for an Uber to get to work or appointments, and I don't have that kind of money. It's so frequent that parking there isn't worth $200/month. The garage has also been flooded for months. Don't live here unless you like wasting money.

The maintenance staff are excellent and deal with problems quickly. The cleaning and management staffing is awful. The elevators are always dirty, and by Friday night there are already spills and mud in the elevators and lobbies. They need cleaning staff on weekends to keep up with the heavy use. During the week, it seems like they just run a Swiffer over things and call it done. I've never seen a real wet mop, the grout never seems deeply cleaned, and the lobby elevator buttons on each floor are never wiped down. The key fob readers inside the elevators are difficult to use. Management needs to pay for more cleaning. All I ever saw was someone vacuuming the hallway once a week, which isn't enough for high-traffic areas at the rent Greystar collects.

I've lived at Union on broadway for nearly three years, and I love it here. The staff are attentive and do a great job. Zoë at the front desk is especially helpful, and Jeremy is really good at his job and always willing to help.

The staff are still kind, but the new managers are rude and completely unprofessional. Their new rent system wouldn't take digital payments for at least a week after rent was due, so paying on time was nearly impossible. They still wanted to charge late fees for a problem caused by their own lack of planning. The garage has also been flooding for over a week, and it's getting worse each day. The prices are outrageous for this treatment. Things used to be much better. At these rents, you'd expect management to treat people with more respect. Avoid renting here if you can.
