Inn at the 5th

I'm local and booked a StayCation, but it felt like being in a different town. The Inn at the 5th made our night away feel like a trip somewhere distant. The location, the room, that soft bed, the tub, and the fire place all helped make it special. Cecilia and the whole customer service team were so bright and helpful, and Fin always had a smile. Well done, team. You made me a fan and a bragger of the 5th! If you want a romantic, truly serene getaway while staying IN Eugene, I'd recommend it. Downtown Eugene is a convenient location for business or leisure, and the Inn at the 5th still has a calm, refined feel. The accommodations were immaculate and thoughtfully designed, with comfort, quiet, and quality throughout. Management's focus on the guest experience showed from housekeeping to concierge. As a frequent business traveler, I've stayed in many kinds of hotels, and this one stands out for its hospitality. From arrival, everything felt smooth, efficient, and genuinely welcoming, like a well-led team with high standards. The Inn at the 5th rivals top-tier hotels in much larger markets. I look forward to coming back on my next Eugene trip and would confidently recommend it to executives or other discerning travelers.

The room felt like therapy after the disastrous hotel we'd escaped. It was spotless and calm, and before we even touched the complimentary wine and beer, a basket showed up like a gift from the hospitality gods. The kids absolutely lost their minds. For $275 in the off season, I got one night in a single-occupancy room overlooking a parking lot, with no parking, breakfast, or perks included. Valet is the only parking they offer, and that's another $25 a night. It was inconvenient and expensive; the only alternative would've been street parking far away. The only room service comes from a nearby restaurant, Marche. It's good but expensive, and doesn't serve breakfast. The bed was comfortable, the cabinetry reasonably well made, and the hardware and plumbing fixtures were good quality. Everything is relatively new and still works, so they get a point for that. My main complaint about the Inn at the 5th is how overpriced it is for what they provide.
