The Oval Door

The fresh baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookies were everywhere in the air, baked daily, and thankfully made without those stupid raisins! Breakfasts were unique, delicious, and downright outstanding. Our two nights weren't nearly enough. The rooms were good, the staff were great, the food excellent, and the company wonderful. Management and staff were friendly, and even though the location is central, it was peaceful and quiet at night. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. It was a great first B&B experience for my Father, though this place set a standard other B&Bs haven't lived up to yet. We stayed in November 2013. Ken

The Oval Door made for a lovely one-night stop while we drove through Eugene on our honeymoon this September. The innkeepers were welcoming, and the homemade cookies were amazing. Guests could have wine and beer included in the room charge. Our room was spacious, very clean, and vintage. Breakfast the next morning was great, with several options to choose from. If we're in Eugene again, we'll certainly stay here.

The owners were warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious and really filling. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a wide range of amenities that made the stay easy. The location worked perfectly for someone visiting from out of town. Hosting and service were among the finest I've experienced. I'd love to come back.

There are Echo Dots in the quaint rooms, and downstairs there's a fireplace, plenty of places to sit, homemade treats, and a cozy nook in a large library. It's also an easy walk to downtown's Holt center, restaurants, and stores. The house is beautiful, and Brian is a great cook. Nate was amazingly gracious. I was nervous about my first B&B because my wife picked it, but I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.
