I strongly dispute the claim that our room was filthy. There was no evidence of damage or an excessive mess, just juice on a blanket and a child getting sick, both ordinary things that can happen when families travel. Calling that filthy feels exaggerated and like an excuse. The explanation that my card was declined also doesn't add up when you had no trouble charging more than $800 for the room or collecting deposits. If replacing a blanket costs more than the deposit, that policy should be adjusted instead of used to blame guests for everyday accidents. The way my family was questioned, including my child and a veteran, felt accusatory and disrespectful. We felt shamed and targeted rather than treated with basic understanding. I've stayed in hotels regularly for over 10 years without complaints and have never faced this kind of suspicion or treatment. I'll keep choosing other hotels where families are treated fairly and respectfully. That experience fit with the rest of our stay, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional from beginning to end. Staff communicated dismissively, and reasonable concerns got defensiveness instead of solutions. I also felt bias affected how my situation was handled, adding to the stress. I was especially uneasy about privacy and security. Staff entered or handled my room while I was away, and nobody clearly explained what had happened, so I worried about my belongings. Parking was frustrating too. Availability was limited, I was charged extra, and staff made me feel like a nuisance for asking about it. I hope management takes concerns seriously and improves its communication, professionalism, and respect for guests. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially for service members, women of color, or families.

The location is nice, on a street with plenty of food and businesses. The bed was comfortable, and there was a fridge and microwave in the room. Breakfast was basic: cereal, juice, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, and apples. No eggs or meat.

We were in room 100, which is close to the best parking spot but gets quite a bit of traffic noise. Light sleepers may want another room. My wife sleeps very lightly, but her white noise eye mask worked like a charm. The place was clean, well located, and reasonably priced, and the staff were nice. Breakfast is continental, with bagels or toast, oatmeal packets, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt. I prefer that kind of simple breakfast to fast food or an expensive sit down meal. Just keep in mind it isn't hot.

Our room was spotless and even had a jacuzzi, though we didn't get a chance to use it. The hotel looks like it's been remodeled. Jaz and Tyler (?) were really helpful. We'll stay again when we're heading to see family in CA, and we'd recommend it.

I'm the wife who didn't go on this out of state trip. I called the hotel with my number blocked and asked Garrett for the corporate office number. He said hotel policy wouldn't let him provide it, told me to call between 8am-3pm M-F for the general manager, and hung up before I could ask anything else. When I called back, I said I thought he'd hung up on me. He replied rudely that he'd already told me to call back. I repeated his words and explained I only wanted the manager's name so I would know who to ask for. He again refused to give it. I later found out the hotel is owned by ALKO Hotels and that the general manager is Tina, whose husband is the VP of ALKO. When Tina called, she was rude too. She kept interrupting and said she believed her employees' side. She told me she'd been listening for five minutes and had a 2pm meeting to get to. I said her staff needed ethics and customer service training. She laughed, said the call was a courtesy and she had to go, then talked over me and hung up while I was still speaking. I'll be contacting the BBB and Channel 9 news, which is local to Eugene, OR. My husband had checked in and complained about the parking structure on the first night. After that, he believes management had it in for him. He says a note was entered in the computer calling him rude, visible to all three front desk staff so the next shift would see it. He describes the staff as the rudest people he's encountered, including toward our minor son. The parking setup was extremely inconvenient, very small, and short on spaces. There were lots of room problems too. Shower pipes squealed loudly throughout a shower, sink pressure was very low, and the refrigerator made noise all night. He could hear water dripping from upstairs, with condensation and water damage on the ceiling and bathroom door. He smelled mold under layers of paint. The AC failed overnight, making sleep worse, and the tiny couch throw pillows didn't help. The floor near the bathroom sink was raised enough to be a trip hazard. He found the rooms outdated and uncomfortable. Garrett ignored our son when he came into the lobby to say good morning and ask where breakfast was. He just pointed without looking up, which was awful customer service. My husband says general manager Julio tried to profile him while he was seeking a refund to leave, saying, “oh I know your kind“. He felt the disrespect, insensitivity, and racism from management were reflected in how employees acted too. Unless you want to be treated like crap, don't stay here. He said he'd rather have slept in the car than stay.
