My children and I needed somewhere clean and quiet to rest after an eight-hour drive, and this did the job. Check-in was quick and easy. It’s a decent, no-frills place, which was all we needed. We might book here again if we return to Eureka.

The staff are kind, and David, the manager, does a great job keeping the motel clean and safe. The rooms are nice, and it’s a clean, safe place overall. It’s in a rough part of town but close to lots of businesses. Some foundations for homeless people live here.

A great deal. The room was clean and orderly when I arrived, and the bathroom was nice too.

We only needed a cheap place to sleep in a pinch, but the first room smelled so bad that we had to ask for another. The second was better, perhaps because it had no carpet. We kept our clothes on and slept on top of the comforter just to feel safe, but the springs made a racket whenever we moved. The shower ran out of hot water quickly, though the wall heater worked well. The front desk woman was nice at checkout. I guess you get what you pay for.

It was okay at best, and not awful, but the room smelled like cigarettes and the carpet felt a little sticky underfoot. There was no AC or ventilation in the room, so I imagine it could get bad on a warm night.
