Surestay Hotel By Best Western Eureka

I felt comfortable here. The town is well lit, and the rooms are along locked, well-lit indoor hallways. You can park in the lot or on the street, which is convenient. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. I’d highly recommend it.

The bathroom was HUGE, honestly almost worth the stay by itself, and the room was super clean. The beds were really comfortable too, as was the flower carpet. I wish I’d taken a picture. It felt old-fashioned but very safe, with ample parallel parking even though the lot is the only one in town. I felt safe walking to the register at 2am. We arrived really late and had called ahead, and the woman checking us in was lovely, informative, and knew so much about the area and its history. She was helpful and didn't seem bothered at all. Breakfast had a HUGE selection. The other guests seemed to work at the Mines and were respectful and nice. The receptionist also told us about a cool side quest for surviving the loneliest road in Nevada, and gave us a stamp. Definitely staying again!

The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet, but it felt a bit overpriced for such a minimal room. Breakfast was different from what I'm used to: microwave burritos, breakfast tacos, Jimmy Dean's sausage and egg sandwiches, plus fruit and sweets.

We needed a place for the night on our way to California, and this hotel in the middle of nowhere in Eureka worked out well. The staff were super friendly, and the hotel was big and comfortable. Breakfast was good, though there wasn't as much choice as you'd find in a hotel in a bigger city.
