Casper C'mon Inn Hotel & Suites

We like these hotels enough that, whenever we can, we change our travel plans to book one of their locations. The rooms are consistently clean, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast is always fresh and tasty. The features are what make the hotels special to us: koi ponds, water features, taxidermy, and several hot tubs in the atrium. Before we became empty nesters, our kids especially loved feeding the fish in the mornings.

We had a busy stretch of hotel dates and needed extra days added at short notice. Tammy and Jessica went out of their way to make it work. Kohen also helped us with some items we’d left behind and was so kind about it. The service and cleanliness were unbelievable, the atmosphere was phenomenal, and this is definitely a family favorite.

The best features are the hot tubs in the middle of the hotel, with balconies looking down on them, and the location near restaurants and stores. The atmosphere is really nice. The breakfast had a good selection, but the food was gross, so we stuck to oatmeal and yogurt. Most of the rest was poor. Our room wasn’t very clean, and the sleeper couch was the worst I’ve seen. Its springs dug into your back, so my kids slept on the floor instead. We were there for a wrestling tournament, and children seemed to take over the whole place. Every hot tub was overcrowded with kids splashing and being loud, and they ran and screamed in the halls until midnight. There was no adult supervision, and we barely slept.

We’ve stayed here because we like the rustic feel, but after this last day I’m not sure I can come back. It’s rarely very clean, and the noise from other guests is extreme every time we visit, making it hard to sleep. Breakfast is pathetic, and something is usually broken. The hotel has gone downhill over the past few years. It’s disappointing, because it has so much potential.
