We’d stayed here for years, back before Patriot took over, when it was Shady Oaks, and never had a problem. This time we had to call an “in case of emergency” number just to get someone to the office for check-in, since nobody answered the local phone. In the cabin, there was no TV remote at first. They eventually brought one, but we had to figure out how to program it. Even then, the internet and Wi-Fi were so bad we couldn’t watch TV. We used the manager’s cell phone as a hotspot until that evening, then called the emergency number again. Someone was sent to buy a booster, but it didn’t help, so I paid for a hotspot on my own phone. There were roaches in the kitchen cabinets, sink, and bathroom, including the shower, toilet, and countertop. Some were tiny, and some were German roaches. There were four adults staying for a week. We had to ask for towels twice, then call the emergency number again to get the manager to bring some. After we’d been out hunting, we found towels in the bathroom still bearing their tags. They’d gone out and bought them and brought them over like that. The managers never came back to see whether things worked or if we were okay. We won’t stay here again. It was disappointing to pay more for a cabin hoping to be more comfortable than a hotel. From now on, we’ll stay in a hotel.

The owners are rude and obnoxious, and the charge was ridiculously high. We stayed just one week but were billed for a full month of rent. This place is an absolute rip-off. Shame on them. Be aware before you stay.

The managers were there for questions whenever I had them, even outside office hours, and they were super friendly and helpful. They were also understanding while I went back and forth with my boss to get information and sort out the paperwork. The park is well maintained and has a pond with fish and ducks. The fish are really cool to watch. I’d recommend it, 10/10.

I had a great vacation here, and the stay was really nice compared with other campgrounds. Thanks for such a good experience. I definitely want to come back soon!

This is hands down the best RV park I’ve stayed at. It’s quiet, safe, clean, and well maintained, and the couple who run it are great. It’s pet friendly, with a clean, convenient laundry and a gym stocked with the kind of equipment you’d find at high-priced gyms. The location is great, close to 45, with plenty of places to eat just 1 to 10min away. I definitely recommend it.
