Hampton Inn Fairhope-Mobile Bay

After a long shift, coming back to friendly people at the front desk was such a lift. Alex and Leigha are absolute rockstars, and Amy and Linda went above and beyond with housekeeping. My suite had a freshly made bed, clean towels, and restocked toiletries. I stay in hotels often for work, and this one checked every box and then some. The location, staff, and atmosphere are all great. Thank you, Alex, Leigha, Amy, and Linda, for making my stay comfortable and pleasant. Your kindness didn't go unnoticed!

We've stayed here many times, including this New Year's Eve, and had a great time. It's easy to walk from the hotel to dinner, shopping, or the park with the kids. This time I especially wanted to thank the front desk team. I left behind a large toiletry bag with hundreds of dollars' worth of products and jewelry. While I was driving home, they called to let me know they'd found it, then kindly shipped it to my home. A huge thank you!

I've been coming to Fairhope for years, and the Hampton Inn has always been convenient for walking to the shops and restaurants. This visit was different. The hotel really needs upgrades. The breakfast area chairs have been there as long as I can remember, and the cushions are worn out so badly that you sink into them. The mattresses are just as overdue for replacement, and they were more uncomfortable this trip than ever before. I left a day early because of them. I'm a pet lover and have pets myself, but it's not appropriate to feed a dog table food in the dining area while other guests are eating. I don't mind the hotel allowing pets, but they should keep them out of that room. The hotel does well, so you'd think they'd keep it fresh and comfortable instead of letting it lose its charm. I'll stay somewhere else on my next Fairhope trip until the accommodations are updated.

We've stayed here for more than 10 years, but our latest visit will be the last until they renovate. The staff are friendly and the location is great, but that's about all this hotel has going for it. It's dirty and run down and badly needs a refresh. The carpet is gross and coming apart. The beds and pillows are terrible, the towels are awful, and the rooms and linens smell. We had to get our keys rekeyed every day. I've stayed at many Hilton properties, and this has become the worst. It was fine when we first started staying here 10 years ago, but nothing seems to have been updated since. The owners really need to remodel it.
