We booked three rooms and were very happy with them. Everything was really clean and sanitary, even the vents and window sills. Mike was VERY FRIENDLY and helpful. We’ll definitely stay here again. Thanks for the service, Mike (Gaddy).

Room 204 had been updated, which impressed me. Great price, and Mike at the front desk was very helpful and professional. I’d definitely come back.

I booked a smoking room, but the clerk said there wasn’t one, even though there were only two cars at the hotel. I thought that was a lie. When I arrived at 1:30 pm, he also asked for $10.00 for early check-in, which hadn’t been mentioned online, so I refused to pay it. He didn’t speak English, and people checking guests in should be able to communicate with them. The heater in the room didn’t work; none of the buttons would push, and it was 37 degrees outside.

It was okay for our trip to Hillsville, Va., as a basic place to shower and sleep, but don’t expect extras. The rooms were clean, though there was no coffee in the room and the coffee at the front desk was rough. There aren’t any restaurants nearby. The hallway doors had signs saying key card access, but there was no access control, so anyone could walk in. In the room, the bathroom ceiling light was missing, with wires hanging down, though wire nuts covered the hot wires. The location sign on the back of the door was a joke, and the safety chain latch was missing, too.
