Ramona Valley Inn

The bed was comfortable, but there wasn't even a blanket, and the television didn't work. There was no soap dish in the bath or any towel bars, not even hooks. Would it really cost management that much to put some up? I'm staying here for a few days right now, and the shower and bathroom floors had long hair and pubic hair on them. They looked unclean, so I laid towels over the dirty floor to avoid contact with bacteria. This feels like a slum motel, especially given the downtown location it could have made good use of.

We had to leave a little early and left our charger behind. She gave us a really hard time about mailing it to us. This place was filthy, like it hadn't been cleaned since 1970. Just standing there made me feel like I caught monkeypox. They say no smoking, but it smelled like someone had stood right outside our door and taken a bong hit. If I could rate it minus five stars, I would. Don't pay over 100 bucks to stay at Skid Row in San Diego/Ramona.

Parking is the weak spot. The lot seems pretty small for the number of units. Still, Ramona is a nice area, which helped, and for this price point, lots of Inns or Motels in San Diego County are dirty or in questionable neighborhoods. I was glad I stayed here. Ramona Valley Inn isn't fancy, but it is comfortable and clean, and I'd stay again.

The room smelled musty, and the lighting was that harsh, blinding white LED kind. Some bulbs were out, so we asked for replacements. The guy said, without even checking, “no we don’t have any lightbulbs.” We also asked to switch rooms and were just told no. I literally cried lol. I'm still staying here because there are no other hotels available, and they won't refund us. The staff have been incredibly unhelpful. The room itself was disgusting. Dirt wads covered the walls, the floors were gross, and I found literal pubes in the sheets. The pillowcases were all wrinkled, the bed had only two sheets and no comforter, and the shower had rust and dirt stains. There was other people's hair in the “fresh towels” too. If I could give zero stars, I would. Don't stay here or waste your money. And please don't reply with “I’m sorry that was your experience during your stay we will try to address these concerns.” I've seen the same replies to similar reviews for months. I hoped things had improved after all the earlier criticism, but nothing has changed.
