Skyfall Guestrooms

The restaurant upstairs was amazing, with great food and staff. I was glad to find this place, possibly because someone canceled at the last minute. The room’s interior was thoughtfully done and very clean. Best of all were the river views at sunset, made even better by how spotless the window glass was. I’m definitely going back.

This was our third visit, and the property still impresses us. We loved being able to pick any entree and drink from the restaurant’s breakfast menu. There were also thoughtful extras in the room, like premium TV channels, a fridge with complimentary drinks, popcorn, and a postcard. Check-in and checkout were easy, and every staff member we spoke with was attentive and friendly. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, with a beautiful river view. We’ll definitely stay again.

I was there during shoulder season, October 26-29, so it was less busy. My suite was comfortable and high quality, with modern decor. The kitchenette was convenient, with a Keurig, a decent-sized fridge, and a microwave. The bathroom was modern and clean too, with a nice, full flow from the shower. Breakfast passes were included, the staff were helpful and accommodating, and there was plenty of parking. I also got a couple of gorgeous sunsets.

One small shower quirk: it wouldn’t get hot until we realized the handle or pipes must be reversed. Once we figured that out, the stay was lovely. The room was quiet after the restaurant closed at 9pm, and the woman who checked us in kindly let us head to our room even though we arrived very early. This cute three-room inn was just right after a long day of travel and sightseeing. Each room has its own design and a pretty Green River view. Breakfast is included at Tamarask Restaurant just above the rooms, with fresh made-to-order omelets, pancakes, and other choices. The stairs from the parking lot are shallow but long, so it could be difficult for someone with mobility issues. We’d definitely stay again.
