Hampton Inn Fayetteville

Our room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable, with plenty of pillows for us. Breakfast was included and just what we needed to start the day. We were part of a large group arriving on different days and at different times, but check-in stayed easy and quick despite computer problems. The reception area was a great place for many of us to gather and have fun. We'd stay again if we were in the area.

I tried several times in October and November to book a room for family visiting for Thanksgiving. Online booking didn't work, and I couldn't reserve by phone either because I was told the system was down and to call back. I finally booked an Airbnb. It still seems like the system is down because online booking continues to fail. Pretty ridiculous for a Hilton property. Does Hilton even know?

The front desk staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. I asked for extra towels, and they were at my door within 10 minutes. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and breakfast was hot and very good, with eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, and more. I have no complaints about the facility or staff, and I'd highly recommend the hotel. The frustrating part was booking: a month before our stay, we couldn't check in online or by phone because “the system is down.” We called again a week ahead and got a room, but the system was still down. Management really needs to fix this. It's hard to believe it hasn't affected how many people check in.

The room had plenty of space and was clean, though the hotel could use more attention to detail. The furniture showed heavy use and the walls needed fresh paint. There was enough equipment in the fitness center for a good workout before dinner, and breakfast had plenty of options to start the day with a full stomach.
