Regency Inn Fayetteville/Fort Bragg

The staff were nice, but the room was disgusting. The toilet wouldn't work or flush, and there was a hole in the wall you could see through to the parking lot. The bed, floor, and bathroom were all gross.

The room was filthy and uncomfortable from top to bottom. The beds were dirty, the floors badly needed vacuuming, and there was mold on the shower curtain. Bugs were crawling around, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the shower had no hot water. The faucets didn't work right either, and the tub filled while I was trying to shower, so I was standing in dirty water. The TV and AC were both out. The photos make this place look nothing like it really is, and I didn't see signs of the renovations they claim to be doing. I wouldn't recommend it or come back. It barely deserved the one star I had to give.

Roaches were on the headboard when I arrived, and I didn't feel comfortable staying there at all. I'd just flown in for a couple of days and was dropped off by Uber. If I hadn't been so exhausted, I would've walked to another hotel. I wish I'd checked the reviews before paying.

The front desk man was genuinely nice and helpful, but the room was so dirty that I left my belongings in the car because I was worried about theft or bugs. The sheets had stains and multiple cigarette burns. I wore flip-flops in the shower and used a hand towel to dry off. I didn't have extra money to go somewhere else, though I considered sleeping in my car. There was no continental breakfast, Wi-Fi, or pool, despite what the ad said. With some cleaning and quick fixes, the place might be tolerable.
