Getting to know Steve and Stephanie was my favorite part of the birthday getaway my husband planned at Kingsley House. I’d never stayed at a B&B before, and it was just what I’d hoped for. We had a unique, amazing stay in the Northern spy suite on the 3rd floor of this historic home, with its rich history, good food, and lovely company. It felt like home. Thank you for everything! We’ll be back ;)

The chocolate-covered strawberries waiting for us were such a sweet welcome, and the cozy room and jacuzzi tub made our anniversary stay feel special. Kingsley House has a charming, homey atmosphere, while still being only about 15 minutes from downtown Saugatuck, so it was peaceful and convenient. Chris greeted us warmly and showed us around, and Stephanie, the cook and housekeeper, made us feel at home. Everyone we met was kind and genuine. My wife and I had an incredible stay for our 10-year anniversary.

Stephanie made us a fresh, delicious breakfast, and the new owners were welcoming and attentive. The historic home feels cozy and was clean. It’s conveniently close to the main attractions in Fenville. I’d highly recommend this quaint bed-and-breakfast.

We felt right at home in the cozy atmosphere, thanks to the five-star staff. Our host was friendly, full of helpful information, and a pleasure to chat with. Breakfast was delicious both mornings, with care put into the preparation. We had a wonderful two-night visit and would recommend this charming B&B for a relaxing, memorable getaway.

We came back for a second year while in town to see Come From Away in Saugatuck, and Steve, the host since the September 2024 change in ownership, was awesome. He was warm, friendly, and very personable, a much better fit for greeting guests than the previous host we encountered, who didn’t seem suited to a public-facing role. Stephanie is still there and makes amazing breakfasts. I highly recommend this B&B if you’re visiting the Saugatuck area.
