Gingerbread Mansion Inn

I’ve stayed here several times for a week or two while working in the area, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Olivia and Joey really care, and the staff keep the place clean and help whenever I have a need or concern. The rooms are all different, and if the house isn’t full you can peek into the others. After a long workday, tea time was such a nice treat, with homemade goodies, lots of teas, and some wine for those who drink it. Breakfast is insanely good too. I also bought the body scrub and rose water spray from the display case. I’ve never felt so smooth. I’m grateful for all the stays at the mansion.

Our room was lovely, with hand-painted murals and a cast-iron bathtub, and the innkeeper was gracious and kept things running smoothly. This historic Victorian mansion is beautifully appointed, with two parlors, a little library sitting room, and a dining room. It’s a wonderful stop along the California coast, and I’ll be excited to visit again.

Tea time made for a pleasant afternoon pause, and breakfast was better than expected in both taste and presentation. The property has a memorable charm, with comfortable, well-kept rooms and large tubs that were great for relaxing. Service was friendly and attentive. The garden has potential, though it feels neglected at the moment and could use more care to meet the rest of the place’s standard. Without air conditioning, warmer nights were less comfortable.

The breakfasts were filling and delicious, and the rooms felt cozy, clean, and charming. It’s such a beautiful, fun place to stay. The staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful.
