The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was about what I expected. I needed an inexpensive place near West Point, and that’s what I got. I’ve paid more to stay in much worse places. This isn’t a resort, but it covers the basics well enough, and I’d happily stay again.

I stayed in room 8. The table was so filthy I had to clean it myself with the Lysol and paper towels I’d brought. The towel came away blackish green. There was mold on the shower floor, and the wet, stained caulking around the sink left a mark on my hand. The cameras felt creepy, switching on and shining a bright light whenever I moved or stepped outside the room. The attendant was barefoot, too.

The price was still the same as last year, which was nice with so many hotels raising theirs. We stayed here last night and again got friendly service and a clean, comfortable room, just like last time. We’ll be back.

We spent about 30 minutes arguing over where to park our big trailer at the entrance, even though there was plenty of room in the end. The kids found the parking situation complicated, too. The bed was so hard I woke up with hip pain, and the sheets felt cold. There were stains on the pillows, moldy old windows, and a dirty shower. Definitely not going back.

The room was fairly clean, and the place had a quiet feel despite being right off the highway. The shower head could use a proper deep clean, though.
