Comfort Inn & Suites Fishers - Indianapolis

We managed one night, but I wanted to mention a couple of things for anyone traveling with little kids or lots of bags. The elevator was out, and all available rooms were on the third floor. Carrying a baby, a toddler, and all our gear up and down the stairs was difficult. I’d already paid, and there were no lower-floor rooms. We booked because reviews described the hotel as clean, which matters to me with young children. But when I pulled back the covers in the first room, there were crumbs and hair inside the sheets. I politely asked for another room, and the desk employee understood and switched us right away. The second room’s sheets were clean, though the room had a strong perfumed smell, like laundry spray, which could bother anyone sensitive to fragrances.

A dog barked loudly all night without stopping, even after I called to let the hotel know. I got absolutely no sleep. I’m sitting up writing this at 4:00 a.m., and I won’t stay here again.

I paid an extra $20 for early check-in after my travel plans changed, then found the room hadn’t been cleaned. There were long hairs scattered around, including under the covers, crumbs plainly visible on the floor, and several smudges on hard surfaces.

The room had three separate problems, and the whole stay was disappointing. Both the evening and morning front desk employees were awful with customers and acted like we were a nuisance.
