Courtyard Indianapolis Fishers

I’ve been a Platinum Marriott member for more than a decade and never had a front desk problem until this week. At check-in, the associate couldn’t find my reservation and said the manager would be there shortly. Thirty minutes later, GM Michelle Sbai arrived, then spent another ten minutes sorting it out. She was dismissive and rude the whole time. I was staying four days. On day three, after meetings all day, my key stopped working. There were four people ahead of me for the sole front-desk employee when I went down. The GM walked by, and when I explained I needed a new key, she said, “I just got here,” and left. She was rude and dismissive again. I’ll find another Marriott when I’m back in town.

I was double charged for the deposit. The emailed receipt total didn’t match what came out of my bank. I called the manager on the first day and got sent to voicemail. The next day, a very rude woman insisted my bank had made a mistake by charging $347 for a room that cost $297 after tax. I tried to explain that an extra $50 was taken the evening I stayed and then returned, but I’m still trying to work out the other $50. She spoke to me like a child and interrupted every few words. She claimed there was a note saying I’d called and yelled the day before, which is completely false. I spoke to another woman for 15 seconds before she transferred me to the GM’s voicemail, and I still haven’t heard back. This place seems to have a lot of issues. I wish I’d read the reviews before staying, but I was in a pinch. Beware.

The rooms were spotless, the hotel was in excellent shape, and there are lots of great food and drink spots nearby. What an amazing place to stay. I highly recommend it.

I’ve stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Fishers twice. The hotel is pleasant, with spacious, clean rooms, a small pool, and a fitness center. The gym has limited equipment, but enough for a basic workout. There’s breakfast at the hotel, though I’d personally choose one of the many nice restaurants within walking distance. The only annoyance is that both times my invoice went to the wrong address. Hopefully they can sort that out. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.
