I was recorded putting cash in an envelope with a note for my boyfriend, which I left at the front desk while I went out. My daughter was in the car, and I didn't want to go all the way upstairs. We still had two nights on our reservation, and nobody said anything about checking out. Later, I was told staff took it as a checkout because my boyfriend wasn't on the reservation. The cash was gone. When I asked the manager about it, she acted as if I'd done something wrong and said she didn't have time to review the footage. Other guests had warned me not to leave valuables in the rooms because staff might steal them. Choice hotels customer relations said the hotel management had to handle it and would email the GM, but more than a week passed without a response. I expected better from Choice hotels, and stealing from guests is unacceptable. I'll still file a police report, but I had to take my daughter to her dad's in another state for fall break and haven't had time yet. Please think twice before staying here. This is the worst place in Roanoke I've stayed at, even after some rough stays that looked better online.

I'm staying here while I look to buy a home in the area. Shannon and her team have been wonderful, and the rooms are outstanding and very clean. Everyone's friendly and welcoming.

I stayed almost two years and saved them hundreds of hours of room cleaning, but they still wouldn't return the money for the week when I stayed only two of the seven days. When I asked to leave a day early, the manager said I had to give 24 hours' notice. I've never heard of that at any motel I've stayed in; it's usually 11pm on the day. I decided to leave the next day, but she seemed set on keeping my remaining balance and threatened to call the cops when I asked for my $250 back. The manager and the boy who works there were disrespectful and dishonest. I'd give the motel zero out of five for service. Stay away unless you really need a place, and make sure your weekly balance is down to zero before leaving, because you won't get the money back.

While relocating, I've had a really good stay here. The staff and GM have been kind, and the GM has shared useful leads and things I should know. If I can afford it, I'll stay until I find an apartment and get started at my new job. The rates feel fair for somewhere clean and quiet, and as a single woman I feel safe here. I have allergies, so the hard floors are a godsend. No complaints from me. There's even a small workout room.
