The bed was comfortable, though the pillows weren't great, and we had a positive stay. It's an old Route 66 heyday era motel, nothing fancy, with no second floor. The railroad is across the street, so trains pass through the night. At least they don't blow their horns.

The mountain view behind the motel was great, and there are plenty of places nearby. Right on Route 66, it's a perfectly decent spot to spend the night. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and my room was clean and cozy, with everything I needed. Trains go by not far away, which could bother some people, but it didn't bother me. I'd recommend staying here.

Estella and Ernest, the on-site couple who manage the place, do a wonderful job. They handle cleaning, maintenance, and keys, keep standards high, and are accommodating. Shout-out too to the part-time help, Charles and Harley. I stayed here continuously for three months as a retired military traveler and was very impressed. Built in the late 1940s, it's mostly original and has plenty of fresh paint. I love parking my vehicle just two feet from the room door, and I'm convinced these are the cleanest windows in all of Flagstaff. It's a clean, safe, comfortable, NON-CORPORATE place, and I highly recommend it.

For about $75 we got a clean, updated room with a TV, fridge, microwave, and a particularly nice shower head. Fat Olives is within walking distance, and the Neapolitan pizza there was awesome. The building looks rusty and rough outside, but inside was great for the price. Staff clearly care about security, with cameras around the lot and ID checks for every guest. The bathroom could use more surfaces for putting things down, and the WiFi password could be shorter, it's a long string of numbers.

My car broke down in Flagstaff, so I needed a place for the night. Since I was traveling with pets, I picked Pinecrest Inn & Suites because it's pet-friendly. I slept well, felt welcome with my pets, and had no problems. The room was spacious and clean, with a newer, very comfortable bed. Check-in was kind and the service was great, while check-out was easy. The bathroom was small but suited me fine. It was convenient to my mechanic, though the motel sits on a busy road next to train tracks. That didn't bother me, but others may want to know.
