Park Motel and Cabins

We reserved a cabin so the family could stay together, but were told on arrival it had been double booked. We ended up split between two regular hotel rooms with no way to cook, and had to make the best of it. The rooms were OK, but the laminate floor in one turned our feet black, so it definitely needed better mopping. With no warning before we arrived and no confidence we'd get what we'd booked, I probably won't stay again.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. We left a charger in the room, came back for it, and they had it waiting in the office. The rooms were cute and looked super clean. It was cold when we arrived in winter, but the heater warmed things up in a few minutes and worked very well. We could hear the neighbors pretty clearly, though, and we had kids, so we felt bad about their nonsense. The little cabins look adorable too. I'd definitely come back.

Our cabin was such a fun place to stay, and we'll definitely be back to Parks Motel and cabins. Clancy was awesome, super friendly, and worked with us until we were happy after Booking.com had messed up the room type. He went above and beyond to make sure my family was satisfied.

The rooms are cozy and quiet, with a real at-home feeling, and the rates are affordable. From this spot just outside Florence, sand dunes, lakes, trails, and historic Florence town are all less than 10 minutes away, more like 5 minutes. My husband, our furever service boy Buster, and I recently moved here from Texas, and I absolutely enjoy the mountainous surroundings. The people are fantastic. The staff and owners have met our needs and gone above and beyond without us even asking. I rarely leave reviews because most businesses haven't given me the extremely high satisfaction I've found here. I've never had this kind of hospitality and gratitude from a hotel or ANY business. It's definitely 5 stars for me and my family. I love this place and everyone there. Thank you, everyone at park motel and cabins!
