Villa West Motel

The room was clean and had the basics. One night the front desk called to say the person below us was banging on the floor about noise. I tried to explain we hadn't been making any noise, but they hung up on me.

The bed was comfortable, but the ceiling was cracked. The heater quit working, the shower tub flooded, and my key stopped working hours before checkout. It's cheap, but needs a lot of updates.

I've never had a more horrific motel stay. The room was filthy when I arrived, with fecal matter on the toilet seat, sticky floors, and sand in the bed. When I asked for a refund, the woman yelled that I was a liar and refused to give me one. Apparently other people have had this experience too. This place is a health hazard and a scam, and should be shut down. Lesson learned: inspect the room before paying.

The young woman working when I arrived was curt and rude. When I asked for extra bedding, she snapped, “All the bedding in there is clean, why do you need more.” Then I requested two additional towels for me and my fiancé, and she asked, “there are already 2 towels in there, why you need more?” I'm a housekeeping supervisor, and I would never speak to a guest that way. You want people to come back, right? I won't stay here again. I'd strongly recommend spending another $20 and going to the motel 6.
