The staff were kind and quick to help, especially when my shower started backing up. They fixed it right away. The room was clean and spacious, with a kitchenette available on request, including a fridge, microwave, and cooktop. Honestly, this was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in the greater Dallas area, and I’d gladly come back.

We had a great vacation stay and would come back. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and cleaned every other day. There was lots of light, plenty of places to charge devices, and a nice TV. Our family enjoyed the breakfast bar, although the food was only slightly warm and never really hot. I’d suggest adding a microwave in the dining area, though guests can also use the one in their rooms. It’s a family-friendly spot with an easy drive to fun places. We visited Grapevine, Dallas, Fort Worth, Grandscape, Frisco, and Highland Village. A grocery store with good quality food is just a few minutes away.

The helpful staff really stood out: the front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast crew all did a great job. Ed, I think, runs breakfast, and it was excellent. Christina at the desk was very informative. The Wi-Fi worked well for my phone and PC. The temperature controls were frustrating. The thermostat would heat the room to 78 degrees, then I had to switch on the air to get it down to the 72 degrees I wanted. I kept getting up to turn the air on and off, so I lost decent sleep. Showers were lukewarm in the morning and afternoon, though nighttime showers were fine. The pool was much too cold, even though I could feel warm water coming through the spouts. I asked at the desk almost every day, but it never warmed up. My wife and I visit the area 3 -4 times a year and gave this hotel a try. After an 11 day stay, I’m home and still thinking about the pool. The thermostat at the Rec Center I go to reads 80 degrees, and I look forward to swimming there every day. Since the hotel has no hot sauna, they should at least put a thermostat on the pool so guests can get an accurate reading. I went next door to Court Yard and found their pool just right. FYI.

The breakfast was solid, and our room was clean. It’s a clean, fairly new hotel, but our family’s weeklong stay came with several problems: the AC fan was extremely loud, there was no hot water on multiple days, and the indoor heated pool was only 60 degrees. There’s no GM, so it took seven days of complaints piling up before anyone addressed our concerns. Next time we visit, my family will probably stay somewhere else.
