Hampton Inn Foley

After more than 20 years as a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I can say this is my favorite Hampton I've stayed at. I spent several days here on business, and the staff and management set a standard I wish the other Hampton Inns would follow. Brittany, Kay, and Elise made the stay easy and felt like home while the rest of my trip was difficult. The rooms were immaculate, everything I needed was there, and the place was consistently clean. Even the cleaning team checked whether I needed anything when they saw me, even if they weren't servicing my room. The hospitality was so personal that after just one day, the staff knew me by name, and I found myself learning theirs. I'd recommend this Foley hotel to anyone. I love these people and will be back. Huge thanks to them!

On our way to Destin, FL for Mother's Day, we decided to stay near Lambert’s, and I'm glad we did. Elise at the front desk was superb, with customer service second to none. As a Lifetime Diamond Member with Hilton, service has always been why I choose Hilton Products. Because of Elise, we'll always stop here on our way to Florida. It was an honor to meet you, ma’am.

Housekeeping was the main reason I settled on two stars instead of three. We stayed several nights, yet the room wasn't cleaned, towels weren't changed, coffee and cups weren't replenished, and the trash wasn't emptied. Clean rooms, towels, and sheets matter a lot to us. The room sign said housekeeping came every other day, but that seemed more like a guideline. The layout was odd, with a lot of wasted space and just a round table and chair in the middle. The TV was loose on its wall bracket, so we didn't touch it in case it fell and we were charged. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the room Wi-Fi only connected after we logged in from the lobby and returned upstairs, even after asking the desk several times. Breakfast was the bare minimum. If we're back in the area, we'd probably try the Holiday Inn next door.

The staff and service were excellent. My only gripe is one I have with American hotel chains generally: their free breakfast offerings don't compare with what a similar hotel in Europe serves.
