I spent 10 nights here and was really impressed. The cafe/restaurant stood out: chef Gordon took care in putting together options for me, and everything I ate was delicious. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. I’ll stay here again next time I have work in the area.

I stayed one night with my wife, from 13-14 Sep 2025, while visiting close friends for a special event. As a longtime Hilton Rewards member, I usually look for Hilton hotels, and this one was near my friend’s house. Before booking, I couldn’t find any validated negative reviews online. The building is older than the modern, clean lobby suggests. Mario at the front desk made check-in seamless, and he was professional and friendly. I was puzzled that I had to check in in person, since I can usually check in online and get a digital key on the first day. I appreciated Mario texting to make sure the room and everything else were okay. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillows. I wasn’t keen on carpet throughout, apart from the bathroom, because I prefer a non-carpeted spot for my belongings where I don’t have to worry about bed bugs. It wasn’t a deal breaker. The bathroom was nice and the shower pressure was adequate. The towels were clean and had no questionable stains, though keeping them in the shower area seemed counterintuitive if they’re meant to stay dry. The toiletries were the standard Hilton brand and had no issues. Our room faced away from the entrance and pool, looking out onto an open field, business centers, and mountains. That side was quieter than the one facing the main road. I noticed plenty of cameras around the property, which can deter trouble and make guests and staff feel more comfortable. We ate brunch at the Garden Grille and Bar on checkout day, and I posted a separate Google review for the restaurant. Parking was easy, with enough spaces. I suspect trailers or campers could fit in the main lot or behind the hotel, where I saw semi trucks parked overnight. Every employee I spoke with was friendly, and the hotel was comfortable with astonishing customer service. I didn’t love the prices, but that’s what I expect in California, and I’m used to outrageous rates at Las Vegas Strip properties. I liked this hotel, though it wasn’t my favorite Hilton and wasn’t close to the worst either. I highly recommend it.

My family stayed at this Hilton for my uncle’s 80th birthday, and I know other relatives had negative experiences too. After this, I won’t use Hilton again, and several family members have already canceled Hilton stays they had planned for 2026. The issue began when my husband and I caught a virus and couldn’t use our prepaid reservation. I called 24 hours before check-in. Hilton told me that because I’d booked through a third-party site, both they and the third party had to approve a refund. I contacted the third party right away; they said they would contact the hotel and follow up. Later, they asked for the Hilton staff names I’d spoken to. I gave them Moses and Charlie, the names Hilton staff had provided. The third party then told me everything was approved and a refund should arrive in 2-10 business days. The next day I got a check-in email and then a receipt, so I called the third party again. They said Hilton had denied the refund, claiming Moses and Charlie didn’t exist and implying I’d lied. When I called the hotel directly, the front desk staff sounded immediately annoyed. They said the manager had denied the refund for the same reason and again suggested I was dishonest. The conflicting information, accusatory tone, and lack of empathy or accountability made this a terrible customer service experience. I’m extremely disappointed, and I’d strongly caution people booking here, especially through a third party.

We stayed a couple of nights for a kind of family staycation and found the hotel clean, friendly, and well run, one of the best I’ve stayed at in years. The hotel food was really good, and we might come back to try the burgers. There’s also a good Vietnamese restaurant and a good Indian restaurant right across the street to the west. Highly recommend this place.
