Americas Best Value Inn Forest

I booked at the last minute while driving my truck, and the woman at the desk was really lovely. I had a small problem, but she sorted it out quickly as best she could, even though it was late. Parking for trucks is very limited. Walmart is across the street, and there are lots of places to eat nearby.

I was hoping they'd have a room when I stopped by, and luckily check-in was easy. The room was clean and updated, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was free and hot, and you can walk to whatever you need. I'd stay here again if I'm in the area.

We asked to switch rooms because there was hair and mold in the fridge and freezer. The next room was dirty too: urine marks covered the toilet, the carpet had dirty patches, and there was dried stuff on the desk. In the first room, despite a housekeeper supposedly cleaning when we arrived, we found hair in the bed and blood on the sheets. My husband asked for a refund after all that, but the owner's wife initially said she'd only return half for a room we'd used for 10 minutes. After a back-and-forth with her, her son, and daughter, she called the office and told her husband to refund the full amount. Do not stay here.

The woman who checked me in was great. Everything else about this place was gross. I wouldn't recommend it.
