GALLERYone- A DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel

We loved spending the week at Gallery One. The pool, hot tub, outdoor space, lobby, and bathrooms were all kept really clean, and the rooms being suites with balconies and kitchenettes was handy. Staff were kind and accommodating, even giving us water bottles and cookies. It was easy to walk to Publix, Starbucks, BurgerFi, Galleria Mall, 7-Eleven, Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, and the beach across from it. Mcsourleys and plenty of other places on A1A were walkable too. We can’t wait to come back!

Price at the bar was welcoming and engaging, and the service there was excellent. Drinks were reasonably priced and the food was good, though the menu was limited and identical at both locations. Remember that gratuity is already on the receipt. I missed it at first and tipped extra, which was fine, but worth knowing. Our suite at Gallery One DoubleTree – Fort Lauderdale had a kitchenette, separate living room, roomy bedroom and bathroom, plus a balcony over the water. The pool area along the Intracoastal Waterway had lots of chairs and cornhole, a nice place to relax. Getting around was convenient, about 10 minutes to downtown Fort Lauderdale and around a 20-minute drive to Miami. We had a fantastic stay with comfortable accommodations, a beautiful setting, and great service.

The rooms were clean, well appointed, and had comfortable beds, and the staff were very friendly. The pool area is smaller than it looks, but the beach is about 2 blocks away. Try for an east-facing room, since the west view is bad and you can hear all the road noise. The cookies go quickly, so get one early. Valet parking is very expensive, with no self-parking option, and it can get busy, so plan ahead when asking for your car. Finding the valet late at night was a challenge. I’ll probably skip coming back because of the parking.

The Galleryone was a great value for the location, roomy, lovely room, and quality service. My room had a full kitchen and one of the best views I’ve seen in years, looking out over both the intracoastal AND ocean. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and Rafael, who manages the property, made sure I had a really good stay. I’ll be back soon and will recommend the place to friends and family.
