We got a fair deal, and I’d stay again. We had two rooms while they were renovating, so parking was tight, daytime construction was a little noisy, and only one elevator was working. It was being used constantly to move supplies. Still, the noise didn’t start until after 10am, so it didn’t interfere with sleep, and the inconveniences were minor for us. The rooms were clean, staff reasonably friendly, and the rates were about 30% below the regular price. I understood the construction was why, and thought the discount was fair. I’m willing to put up with some hassle when the price reflects it. Thanks, Holiday Inn Ft Myers Downtown. At that rate, what we got was more than fair. I may be back. I think it’s wrong to expect $200 service at a $100 room price.
