We finally gave up after the third room. The last one didn't smell of smoke, but there was hair all over the sheets. Sam came by, checked it, apologized, and took pictures himself. Before that, room #113 had such a strong smoke odor that we didn't even go in, despite asking for a room far from smoking rooms. Room #116 was better, but still smelled of smoke. My wife and I had made that request clear to Sam at the desk, and we were told both rooms were “non-smoking.” We'd chosen this motel after reading glowing reviews, but our experience with the service and communication, especially with manager Gary, was frustrating. Gary told me by phone he could only refund us. After we left, the hotel called back to say they couldn't issue the refund after all, and that I had to contact hotels dot com myself to start it. The car entrance was another hassle: there was no clear sign, and no entrance from the service road, so we spent an extra five minutes circling around to find the lot in the dark while tired. We left and stayed elsewhere. Bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place.

We booked two nights and left after the first. The room was filthy, especially the bathroom, with broken lights, toilet paper off the holder, and makeup on every towel. I'm hoping the red marks weren't old blood. The room smelled of smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking, and the smell got into our clothes. There were only three pillows on one side of the bed and one thin blanket. Several lights were out, and the remotes had no backs or batteries. At night, loud music came from multiple rooms, with sketchy people coming and going. The evening staff were unfriendly and difficult to talk to. I wouldn't suggest this place for families.

I keep coming back here. The rooms are consistently clean, the rates aren't too high, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Downtown Fort Worth isn't far, and Arlington is just up the road.

The location felt safe, and the price was right. Staff gave great service, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
