Best Western Parkside Inn

I was at the Frankfort location from March 2025 through Dec. 30, 2025, and never had an issue. The whole hotel stayed clean, and the staff were amazing. Todd and Miss Terry went above and beyond throughout my stay, and Frank was friendly, helpful, and kind the whole time. I look forward to coming back.

It's an older place, but clearly well cared for. The pool was very nice, breakfast tasty, and the staff friendly and helpful. The location worked well for us, close to the interstate and plenty of area attractions, and it had the best rate around. It lacks a few modern amenities, though we didn't miss them. The main inconvenience is no elevator to the second floor; a first-floor room avoids that, but kings are only available upstairs.

We wanted a suite with a living room to relax in. The first one looked worn, so we asked about another, and the next had nicer carpet and furniture. It was good. Some of the hotel could use updating, but it seems like they're working on it and it looks good.

I called Todd, the manager, just to ask how much the meeting room cost. He asked what I needed it for, and when I said a Mary Kay party, he pressed me on what happens at one. I explained it was a skincare class. I also mentioned my family uses the room every year for a reunion social, but he said they don't do reunions there anymore. He checked whether my family had booked for this year, though they hadn't yet; I offered my mother-in-law's 2025 reservation as a reference, and he declined to check. The questioning went on for more than four minutes when all I wanted was pricing. He eventually quoted $300 for three hours on a Thursday. I declined and told him I wouldn't consider the hotel and would tell my family about the interrogation. I also told him I'm a Mary Kay Pink Cadillac Director and didn't appreciate the conversation.
