La Quinta Inn And Suites Frankfort

I traveled alone and felt safe, and the friendly front-end managers were really nice. The value for the price was good, too. They're renovating and changing the name to American Inn as they rebrand. My room had been updated, so it was clean, fresh-smelling, and had clean linens. The bathroom hadn't been redone; the tub looked dirty and needed replacing, and its faucets were old and stained. Water pressure was good, with plenty of hot water. I brought my dogs, and there was a nice grassy area to walk them. Breakfast was disappointing, more continental than full, with no hot food except hard-boiled eggs.

No frills here. The ice machines and pool weren't working, but the rooms were clean, somewhat updated, and regularly serviced. Beds were comfortable, showers were hot, and staff were accommodating within limits. There's a large mini-fridge, which is handy for a longer stay, and the price was good. No critters, either.

The rooms we've had were clean and nice, and they've been remodeling under new management and new owners. Everyone has been super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The pool works and isn't too cold, and breakfast has a few options. Prices are the best around, and the hotel has a better vibe now. The one downside I've found is the Wi-Fi cuts out and often doesn't work. Good job, Laquinta/AmericINN.

This was our second stay, and both times the room was clean, put together, and comfortable. The bed was especially lovely, and the desk workers were kind and efficient even when we arrived quite late. When we woke up late, one worker thoughtfully gave us an extra hour to get ready and leave. They're doing renovations, so a few things look odd, but the place is well kept and not messy. For the price, I'd call this hotel a slay.
