Aiken Manor has become our October tradition. The lake looks amazing with the fall leaves, and I love the Lake View room. There are several rooms to pick from, each decorated with care and its own personality. Yvonne is such a lovely host, and the place feels cozy and relaxing. Breakfast has lots of choices, and everything she makes is delicious. Coffee and tea are always there too. I’m already looking forward to coming back in April with friends for a girls’ trip and some time to enjoy Aiken’s charm.

We loved the walk right outside the front door, where the Franklin Northern rail trail stretches for more than 50 miles. It’s great for walking, biking, or snowmobiling in winter. There are also good restaurants nearby. Yvonne and her husband are friendly, helpful hosts and excellent cooks. Each morning they sent a tray with a pot of coffee to our room, and breakfast had several choices and was five-star. Such a quaint B&B.

Whenever we come to see our son at Proctor Academy, we stay at Aiken Manor. It’s conveniently close to the school, and staying here is a pleasure. Yvonne’s breakfasts have become famous, and the place is clean and cozy. Even at 6 am, there’s coffee ready for me. Before heading to the school, I can take one of their free kayaks out on the lake. It’s a real treat.

The Library room felt so inviting, I could’ve stayed forever. Yvonne asked when we wanted coffee, and it was already waiting when we went to pick it up. Breakfast was excellent, and she gladly worked around my dietary needs. We’ll stay again, and I’ve already told friends about it.

The rooms are warm and cozy, and Yvonne is a wonderful host with such a bright spirit. Breakfast was all fresh and clearly made with love. I spent two nights there last June and wished I could just live there. I’m hoping to bring my family this year so we can stay longer and explore more. ❤️
