Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville South Cool Spri

The room was clean, and breakfast was very good. The lobby is being renovated, so there was some noise, but we didn't hear it in our room. The work had been posted online ahead of time, so we expected it. We came here after canceling a reservation elsewhere because of the quality. The woman who checked us in was kind and friendly, and since it was our anniversary, she gave us a small gift. We've never had a problem at any Embassy Suites we've stayed at, and we'd definitely come back. It's also close to pretty much everything in the area.

Tameia, the manager, made my stay especially memorable. She was warm, professional, and attentive, and she really cared about making guests feel welcome. Her leadership helped everything run smoothly, and the whole team created an atmosphere that felt both personal and luxurious. The property was beautiful and clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. I can't recommend it enough. I'll definitely return and tell people to ask for Tameia.

The pool and fitness room are closed, none of the ice machines are hooked up, and the floors are very dusty. The center section is shut down and noisy with renovation work. We weren't told about the major renovations before arriving, and calling the lobby only gets us a machine, not a person. This is barely functioning, yet we're paying full price. The website says parking costs $12 a day. If they're charging that on top of everything we're dealing with, I'll have another complaint. Maybe the hotel will be nice when the work is done, but with so much unavailable, the rooms should be half price. I'm not happy with this stay.

We were without electricity for a week, and the staff here made us feel comfortable. They offered displacement rates and stayed helpful and focused on customers throughout. Josh and Malashyia deserve an extra shoutout: they helped me sort out my invoice and add nights as needed, all while keeping their smiles even when the check-in desk was chaotic with people coming and going. There's a lot of lobby work underway, so there's no lobby at all and loud noise carries through the day. The rooms are a bit dated, but should improve once renovations are finished. During Nashville's ice storm, we first evacuated to a Homewood Suites in Brentwood for two nights and had the exact opposite experience. We're thankful we moved here until we could go home.
