Country Host Inn

I’ve never left a review before, but this stay was bad enough that I had to. I booked through Travelocity and couldn’t get a refund after seeing the room. I was in town with my children to visit my husband, who works nearby. There was no live person in the office, just a kiosk with a virtual assistant when we walked in. They first gave me a room downstairs. It was so disgusting, with raised planks in the wood floor, that I wouldn’t let my baby walk on it in case she got cut. I went back to the kiosk and got an upstairs room. It was somewhat better but still very dirty. The beds were badly stained and in terrible shape. The rooms were supposedly remodeled, but it didn’t look that way. I went to Dollar General to buy cleaning supplies. The floor was literally black with dirt, the rooms stank, and the towels smelled bad. If I hadn’t had my babies with me, I’d rather have slept in the car. I heard people actually live there or stay long-term. This is my first and last time.
