The hallways and my room both stank of cigarette smoke, bad enough that I ended up with a headache. Check-in took forever too, nearly 10 minutes standing there. I went to get breakfast at checkout, but the breakfast bar only had muffins. I won’t come back.

The rooms were really clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were good and available 24/7. Walmart, restaurants, Burlington, and everything else were nearby, less than 3 miles away. I’ll come again.

We left when my teenage daughter said she’d rather sleep in the car, where she’d be more comfortable. The second room we were given looked like it was mid-renovation, with a huge wolf spider on the wall, burn holes in the comforter, bare walls, and spackled spots that hadn’t been painted. The bathroom door didn’t fit its frame, leaving about three inches of space above it when closed. It felt like a horror movie. That came after the first room was about 90°. I turned on the A/C and waited an hour, but it stayed hot. Someone came up to try to “fix” it, and after another half hour I took a cold shower to cool down. The A/C still wasn’t working, so I went to the lobby and asked to change rooms. The next morning, I called for a refund. The manager said we couldn’t get the first night refunded because I’d used the amenities, meaning the shower and beds. I did use the shower to cool off because the room was so hot, and we lay on the beds while waiting for it to cool. I’d booked a hotel that advertised air conditioning and assumed we’d stay there. The manager didn’t seem to care that the poor room was the hotel’s fault. Honestly, I’m shocked this place has as many stars as it does. I would never stay here again or recommend it. Pay a few more dollars and stay up the road in Dayton, where there are other businesses and nice hotels in a pleasant area.

The room reeked, so I didn't even stay. The side entrance had no locks, leaving it open for anyone to come in. They refused to refund me and said I had to call in the morning. If I could give this a -10, I would!

A really nice motel, with very clean, pleasant rooms and a great outdoor pool. The nightly price was good too. I’d recommend this place to anyone.
