I arrived at midnight and the front desk staff member was really mean. She tried to charge me extra and switched me to a worse room. It was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Then, in the middle of the night, a staff member woke me up and came into my room, saying I hadn't paid the hotel. I had already paid online. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I'm never coming back. Don't go here either.

I wish this story sounded made up. In August of '21, I was staying here with my ex-boyfriend, *Richard, who worked as a general contractor. The owner saw his tools and asked if he'd take on remodeling and repairs in some rooms. While they discussed the work and costs, the owner said one particular room was the top priority because he planned to use it to film adult entertainment. We laughed, assuming it was a joke, especially since, like many other reviews say, the place was filthy and falling apart. The owner then described intimate encounters with guests in graphic detail and said that *Richard or other men he knew could be paid well for similar encounters. *Richard said he wasn't interested and that we were only there to do a job. While discussing payment, the owner asked if we liked to party and offered to get us any kind of party favors if we wanted them as compensation. We declined and said cash or reduced room rates would be fine. Later, *Richard was abusive and arrested on domestic violence charges against me. Afterward, my aunt and uncle came to help me calm down and decide what to do. We went back to get my things so I could stay with them, but the motel wouldn't let me in. They said *Richard's mother had already collected our belongings and gotten a refund for the rest of the week. I was hysterical, and my aunt was furious. The police were called, and I was eventually allowed in to check. His mother had taken everything, and I was left with the clothes I was wearing.

There were roaches, the room smelled of mold and mildew, and parts of the floor felt soft. There was a hole behind the toilet that made me terrified I'd see eyes looking back at me. Noise went on until 2am or later. They said they needed paperwork to prove my service dog was really a service dog, which they aren't allowed to do. It looks like they're trying to fix the place up, but unless they tear it down and rebuild, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I've stayed here since November or December of last year, moving through four rooms. I've had problems with the plumbing, including toilets and hot water, and one room had no water at all. I saw bed bugs in every room except the one I'm in now. They say the weekly rate is around $287.21, though the wording about when the week starts wasn't clear to me. These rooms aren't worth that much. They called the cops on me while I was waiting for a ride, even though they knew one was coming because they heard me arranging it on speaker. Now they're kicking me out a day early. I've always paid on Fridays. This place feels like a trap, negative five stars. Do not come here, it's all bad. They've also stolen my things. She's wearing my jacket right now.

The woman at the desk was very rude. Even though we'd booked and paid online, she demanded a $50 cash deposit. We hadn't been told about it before check-in, and we don't carry much cash. ATMs only dispense in $20 increments, so I offered $40, but she refused. As I see it, that let them deny us the room, keep what we'd paid, and rent it to someone else. We had to spend the night at a friend's with my son because they wouldn't refund the room. All over $10 of an owner-required security deposit. Don't stay here. They'll take your money any way they can, and the place is trashed.
