Quality Inn Franklin I-65

Even a free stay doesn't excuse this terrible “Quality Inn.” There were cockroaches, the person upstairs stomped and made a lot of noise every night, and the breakfast made me sick for some reason. They were always out of milk, too. After an experience like that, I think one free night should be comped.

The man checking me in spoke to me like I was stupid. I booked through a third party, but they didn't have the room I reserved. The cleaners were sick, so they moved us to a different type of room. He said, “Come on, lady, I'll show you the room so you can grasp the concept.” I'm not a child. I just wanted to know why I couldn't get the room I'd booked. Then suddenly the explanation was that the rooms were reserved for nearby hotels that had been condemned. Management is lacking, and there were roaches too.

It'll do in a pinch, but the sheets were dirty and the whole place smelled strongly of weed. I wouldn't stay again.

The room was mostly clean, though the less visible areas needed more attention. Breakfast was very limited, with no eggs or meat and only sugary cereal. There wasn't anything for diabetics. The front desk agent, who said he was the manager, was rude to a Gold member. No staff wore name tags, and only one housekeeper had a uniform. She said she'd been there ten years, which was why she had one. Why don't they issue uniforms or require name tags? Whatever happened to a professional appearance?
