Hoffman Haus

We got married at Hoffman Haus in November, and it was lovely. Having our guests stay on site for the whole weekend was great, and Oreo was a welcome guest of honor. The place feels cozy and rustic, and the ceremony space was beautiful by day and at night. We had dinner catered by HH and danced in the reception hall, which felt both spacious and intimate. The breakfast baskets and wedding catering were both good. Such a charming spot for a little Hill Country wedding.

The location worked well for us. Shops aren't too far from the main street and are within walking distance if you're comfortable walking. We drove and parked near them instead, to avoid the hassle with the kids. Breakfast was excellent, and when we mentioned food allergens during booking, they offered suitable alternatives to the breakfast items we wanted or didn't want. The rooms also have a nice coffee and tea setup. Booking was easy and efficient. I called ahead to ask about a loft room, and when they heard we had a little one, they thoughtfully moved us to a ground-floor room at no extra charge. They also matched the competitive prices we found on third-party booking sites without any trouble. The operator was very kind. Our family plans to come back for a longer stay.

Getting in was a breeze: we checked in online and had our room code before we arrived. The grounds were well kept, and our room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast was delicious, delivered to us in a basket each morning. We truly loved staying here and highly recommend it.

They're really helpful, and the breakfast is great, though 9 am felt too late for serving it. This is an amazing wedding venue. The time change meant the sun was shining into the bride and groom's eyes, and I wish they had moved the altar down a bit. Maybe our photographer Stacy Lorraine would have gotten better photos that way. Use this venue, but don't use the local photographer. You'll be in tears.
