The Evers House

The basket breakfast suited us perfectly since we're not big breakfast eaters. Our room was bright, spacious, quiet, and nice, and we loved staying there. We'll come again, and hopefully bring friends so we can all enjoy the fire pit next time.

There was plenty of parking, and check-in and check-out were easy. My wife and I had an outstanding stay at the Everest house. The location is very convenient, and we could walk to many places, restaurants, and bars. We'll definitely come back in the near future.

We stayed in the "Admiral" room, which seemed bigger than the photos of the other rooms. Evers House is an old renovated property with lots of character, right in the center of Fredericksburg, just off Main Street. I booked through the Capital One Travel portal to use points, but booking directly on their website was significantly cheaper. I had two concerns ahead of time. The lack of staff onsite turned out to be fine; we didn't need to talk with anyone, as long as you're comfortable with tech and keep up with emails and messages. I also wasn't sure what would be in the "breakfast baskets," but they were a thoughtful idea and were put together well. They were satisfactory.

This was our second stay at Evers House, and we love it there. The breakfast, atmosphere, and location were all wonderful. The one disappointment was the Bliss Suite jacuzzi tub. It was supposed to be available, but at check-in there was a sign saying it wasn't working, which left my partner a little bummed.
