Yankee Clipper Motel

This used to be my go-to when I needed a room, but not anymore. It's way too expensive now, and the staff are very rude. Count your days. Back to India, y'all. I can't wait until 47 makes his rounds with you people. 🧊🧊🧊🧊🧊🧊

It's okay, about what you'd expect for the price, and not flagrantly dirty. The rooms have a somewhat modern feel, flat screen TVs, and an open layout. There aren't doors for the bathroom or anything. Seems suited to a quick overnight with a lady of the night. 🤣

I paid $600 for the room, and it felt like a rip off. For a place called a “bed and breakfast,” you'd expect coffee, but there wasn't any. The coffee maker was broken, and the room smelled of smoke. When I went looking for coffee, I was told I'd have to sit down and pay extra for it. They wouldn't give me any, so I had to get in my car and drive around to find coffee. Unbelievable.

We had a lovely stay at yankee clipper, even though we could only be there for one night. The room was clean and fresh smelling, with plenty of space, a fun pull out couch in the living area, working air conditioning, and a very clean bathroom stocked with towels and soap. The pool was clean and not too crowded, and guests could use the mini golf course and ping pong tables. The front desk woman was incredibly sweet and helpful, and we got to meet her adorable new fur baby. Our balcony looked out at the beach, just one block away, and the location was PERFECT. We'll book again next time we're doing a wildwood trip, and I'd recommend giving this motel a try for your vacation.
