Ambassador Inn and Suites

We needed somewhere to stop after driving late, and were glad to get some sleep before heading out. The room was about as clean as it could be, and the staff were nice to us, though I can see how they might come across as rude to some people. The big problem was spotting a baby cockroach. McDonald's next door was loud, and some guests were noisy too.

The motel feels quiet because it sits back from the freeway, unlike many nearby places. We felt relaxed there despite locals telling us it was a bad area, and had no trouble during our stay. There are cameras and someone on duty around the clock, which helped us feel secure. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable sitting area, a large bathroom, a fridge and a microwave. Denny's is only about a three-minute walk away for breakfast. I think this place deserves better ratings than it gets.

I’ve been patrolling Ambassador Inn and Suite as a security guard for a while. They moved the homeless people out to another place while this one was being remodeled. It looks comfortable and nice now, and I’m giving it five stars because it deserves them.

This was below average, especially for the price since I’ve stayed in better places for less. The shower’s hot-water knob didn’t work, so I had to take a cold shower. It didn’t look like a recent break, and I think it had been broken for a while.
