Hotel Piccadilly

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we found the bed comfortable. Our room was spacious and fairly clean, though there were stains on the rug and furniture. The lighting was poor, the TV felt dated, and there was no elevator in the area where we stayed. Breakfast came with the room, but the options were basic. The location worked well for nearby stores and coffee. It suited our short family visit over the holidays.

We found the bed and pillows comfortable, and the blackout curtains helped us sleep well. Breakfast was a simple spread of omelette, toast, coffee, tea, juice, and fruit, a nice extra for the price. Stephanie welcomed us at the front desk and explained everything so clearly that we had no questions. The hotel is older, and I can see why some people want it updated, but I liked its classic feel. The lamps, furniture, and lighting have an antique look you don't see much now. It was all clean and tidy. I think the older style may lead some guests to perceive it as less clean than a modern interior. My husband and I stayed three nights and thought it was lovely value. I'd gladly recommend it to anyone who enjoys that classic charm.

My fiancé and I had such a good stay a few weekends ago that we're going back this weekend. The room was clean, there was no smoke smell, and the shower was clean too. We skipped the pool and hot tub since it was winter. Breakfast was included and fantastic. Why pay more at places like Motel 6 when we liked it here so much? 5/5

The breakfast was okay, and for the hundred dollars I paid, I suppose I got what I paid for. The grounds are really nice, and the room and bed were comfortable. The bathroom was a mess, though. I'm bald, so the big black hair in the tub wasn't mine, and there were literally boogers on the shower wall. I couldn't find a fan switch. It may have been tied to the light, but it wasn't working, so the room filled with steam and the counters got soaked.
