Best Western Plus Fresno Airport Hotel

The breakfast was included with the room, but there wasn’t much hot food. It was bacon one day, sausage the next, with what they called scrambled eggs. I think they may actually boil the mixture with some oil. The rooms were in poor shape. We had to switch rooms twice during our 11-night stay, and I don’t think the first two should have been offered to customers. Ants were all over the first room, even in the bathroom. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the shower fixtures were worn out and not functioning.

After our flight landed at 11 p.m., it was great to find the hotel only minutes from Fresno Airport. Check-in was easy, and for the price and location it wasn’t a terrible stay. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was a standard hotel spread. But the room smelled like a nursing home, and one washcloth may not have been clean because it had hair on it.

The staff take real pride in their work and operate well as a team. They make us feel welcome, safe, and comfortable, and on our latest visit they were just as welcoming to our new dog as to us. It was a lovely stay, thanks to them. My husband and I come here nearly every month. We’ve tried other Fresno hotels, but this one is easily our favorite.

The pineapple at breakfast was my favorite part, and it felt like a fitting symbol of hospitality. The hotel and rooms could use some updating, but the staff clearly put effort into looking after the property. It’s great value. Everyone I dealt with was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, from the housekeeper and breakfast lady to the front desk staff. Thanks for taking such good care of us.
