Best Western Village Inn

This is my second time choosing this hotel. The beds are extremely comfortable, and breakfast was a pleasant surprise, terrific and well stocked. It feels safe here. It costs a little more than nearby hotels, but the quality and sense of safety make it good value.

We had an awesome stay, with clean rooms and a good breakfast. Sheryl at the lobby was especially helpful. The staff are top quality, and this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. There’s a large selection of amenities and fun activities. Definitely recommend.

Breakfast was a welcome extra for the price, with sausages, diced potatoes, eggs, cereal, yogurt, and waffles. The pool area was clean and had towels, though the water was cold and unheated. The property is fenced, with plenty of parking. There was a humid, musty smell in the lobby and hallways, and the place felt a bit old. The windows in the rooms, halls, and entrance were quite dirty, so maintenance could be better. I also found the bathroom light annoying late at night because it can’t be dimmed. It’s a decent budget place if you need somewhere simple for a night or two.

We had a great four-day stay. Andrea greeted us the first night and was professional and sweet. We checked in pretty late, but she still accommodated our request. The property is well kept, clean and quiet, and the rooms are nice and comfortable. And that bathtub! I absolutely loved how big it was. Breakfast was great too. We stay at a lot of Best Westerns, and I’m a manager at a BW in San Diego. I’ve already told my staff how good our stay was. We come out once a month, and this will be our second home. We’ll definitely be back.
