The breakfast had plenty to choose from, though the hot items, sausage, bacon, and hash browns, were pretty much inedible. Cereal, yogurt, fruit, and muffins were still good options. Parking costs $18 a night, so plan for that. There’s a small, clean pool, a good-sized gym, and washers and dryers. Our room was clean and nice, with a kitchen, a bed, and a sofa that converts into a bed. The bathroom was fine, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s downtown, close to the attractions. We had a really good stay and would come back.

For a good value downtown trip, I’d stay here again. The location is great, near a streetcar stop that gets you to lots of places in KC for free. Breakfast is decent: the biscuits are excellent, eggs just so-so, and the waffles, sausage, and coffee are all good. The gym is good too, and the pool is small but effective.

The indoor pool is small, but it was just right for an evening swim, especially with nobody else there. Breakfast was complimentary, with the usual good variety, and the seating area was clean, roomy, and comfortable. We also enjoyed walking to crown center through the skywalk. We stayed overnight after taking our four-year-old to LegoLand KC. The room worked perfectly, we all slept well, and our daughter loved the pullout couch. We all noticed how soft the sheets were.

The room was clean, but the bathrooms could use an upgrade and the walls are SUPER THIN. I could hear everything next door, including a barking dog. The pool was tiny and cold, and the elliptic and stationary bike were broken. The hotel entrance is on the first level, while the lobby is upstairs. Breakfast food was great, though the older woman serving it was less than friendly.

We always have a great time here with the kids! My G-kids and nieces love the pool and breakfast. The staff is friendly and the customer service is great.
