We needed to be right by the Convention Center, and this was a great fit. The lobby is beautiful, our room was super clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. During check-in, they asked whether we wanted a lower or upper floor, which I thought was great since nobody's asked me that before. My young daughter wanted a high floor, so they gave us a room at the top. Warm cookies and warm smiles are the best. I'd definitely recommend it.
My son and I stopped by yesterday morning to buy a tin of cookies. The girl who packed them for us was so sweet and kind. This review is for the easy access, parking, customer service, and cookies. The hotel is GORGEOUS! We didn't stay there, but a night away there sometime sounds fun. I might look into a staycation in the future. Thanks, DoubleTree!
The area right around the hotel felt a bit rough, but inside we felt comfortable and well looked after. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff were professional and welcoming. From our sixth-floor window one night, we watched what felt like millions of crows fly past. It was incredible. My 10-year-old was a little startled at first, then we looked it up together and turned it into an impromptu nature lesson. Later, we spotted crow artwork in the bathroom, a thoughtful coincidence. A solid stay with a moment we won't forget. 🐦⬛
The hot tub jets were pretty weak, which was a small thing. I was there for one night and felt safe. There's free EV charging, and it was nice to see several security guards walking around the hotel's perimeter. The setup is interesting and reminded me of the Luxor in Las Vegas. Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating.
The hotel had a cute bar, a coffee bar inside, a little waterfall, and parking lot security. It was clean, and the front desk service was good. The hot tub felt as cold as the pool, and only four jets worked. The location was a lot to take in: the Jaguar car shop across the street had shattered glass full of bullet holes. And don't expect a room with a view, lol.
